Benjamin Fisher was born with an artistic nature; He drew his way through school, exploring the juncture where beauty, perception and medium cross.  With this driving him, he moved into ceramics, stained glass, etching, and painting before he discovered the lapidary arts.

He pursued his education in goldsmithing, ultimately taking the Jewelry Technician and Graduate Jeweler degrees from the esteemed Revere Academy in San Francisco.

He currently creates his jewels out of his own Ursa Major Studio in San Francisco, and is alway stretching, whether it is the limits of his tools or the tensility of a metal.  In a world where many jewelers create pieces for women, Ben also has a line of elegant jewels fit to the male body and of a scale to match the male psyche.
