Charmaine Ho (www.violunajewellery.com) has always loved art and creative exploration. She has dabbled with drawing, painted abstracts, and photographed macro man-made objects.

It all began in New York City when she took her first jewelry class in 2002. Not long after, Charmaine graduated from GIA with her Graduate Gemologist degree, sold wedding bands at Tiffany & Co., interned at David Yurman, and designed for the mass market jewelry industry.

Upon moving to San Francisco in 2004, she attended the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and earned her Jewelry Technician degree. Charmaine soon set up her own studio, designing and hand-fabricating sterling silver and gold jewelry.

She is fascinated with creating art for the body from raw elements, loving the process of transforming seemingly unyielding metal into something that is elegant and beautiful - something that flows with the lines of the feminine form and enhances a woman's mystique...
